Miss Alina is a character from some story I haven't really worked on yet.I was inspired by *chri01 's love of red heads to do a nice illustration of her, so in a way I dedicate this drawing to him.
I'm trying some stuff out... I go in thinking I'm going to change my illustration style only to find it still too much like the same old thing. In any case it was about time I uploaded something.

I like red hair girls and nude red haired girls as well but of the two versions I like the clothed one more. Also the frame around the art makes it stand out. Keep up the good work.

Ooooh crazy! My friends looks EXACTLY like her except with blue eyes and her full first name is Aliena (spelt differently but pronounced the same!)

It's been my dream to find a girl that looks like this, I actually had a redhead in one of my classes that almost exactly fit this character, I would look at her from the corner of my eye and draw her, even her mannerisms were perfect.
Does your friend have freckles? The name was totally made up, cool to see it's used!

The details are so great (saw the close up). I really love what you did with the shading of the hair and the skin, especially the freckles because they actually look realistic in a way.
The background goes so well and i love the shades of green in it. How long did it take you to do that part? Are they textures??

I'm really proud of the shading on this piece, and totally bummed about the hair!! Im trying to do more "vectorlike" hair, without lines, but it looks like I'm not too good for conveying hair texture in this way T_T
The background is an art nouveau wallpaper texture and the borders were vectorized from some art nouveau decorations. The freckles are real human freckles heheheh...
