A slight flush spread across his cheeks as he turned away from Pavel, “Yeah, I mean, I guess. It’s certainly my favorite. The rarest. The most…beautiful.”

Pavel just continued smiling to himself.

One day Hikaru would tell him what the flower really was and one day Pavel would tell him that he’s known all along.
