The "Pinky" Demon from the original Doom use to scare the crap out of me. Seems silly now, but at the time turning a corner and seeing one of these guys barreling down the hall at me was terrifying to my younger self.Related content

When I was a kid, it was 'ol metal leg that scared the hell outta me.

He was scary too, but in a more ominous way. I'd hear those robotic foot steps and my blood would run cold.
For me, the Pinky Demons were a in the moment panic inducing freak out kind of scary when I first saw one. They were like a jump scare that was still actively coming to get you.

That one didn't scare me as much. Maybe cause I was older by that time, but the only thing I really found scary about that design is that it looked like a giant mutant dong with teeth...In retrospect, I suppose that is pretty terrifying.

What really messed me up was that Doom 3's cyberdemon couldn't be killed the old school way, that you had to have the fucking soul cube to kill it!
