Description part of the 'airfotress' universe. you can read more about it here:unussolum.deviantart.com/

from top to bottom:
-ULSAP PR/2 'hwalgwa' :
one of the first designs of the union lightweight small arms project, originally designated ULSAP-R-03 during research and development was not accepted for the assault role due to low capacity and fire rate, high recoil and handling problems when using large magazines. it's higher accuracy and cilindrical telescopic ammo mechanism, however made it fit for snipers and fireteam marksmen who want a lightweight rifle that does not sacrifice barrel length or stopping power. the action ejects spent cases backwards where they fall down a hole behind the mag well. after optimizing it was renamed to it's current designation.

-ULSAP CR Pyo/jun-soc 'junsoc':

NOTE: due to some accidental naming conventions the words 'junyang'(standard) and 'sochang' (longarm/rifle) where combined forming the unfortunate 'junsoc', which sounds similar to 'junsuc', a slang for male genitalia in the enshawdian dialect. this has led to a number of episodes of , ehem, 'anatomical humor', much to the dismay of the officers.

the service rifle of the ENPF. mechanism is derived from the ULSAP-R-05 prototype and uses telescopic ammo that tapers to ease feeding and reduce jamming as well as increase the structural integrity of the ammunition. the lightweight frame had problems dealing with the high recoil of conventional FMJ and hollowpoint ammo so to combat this a recoil buffer was added to the stock and a valve was added to the gas system to make it possible to adjust fire rate. it comes integrated with a scope, carry handle and BUIS. typically used with flechette ammo for long range engagements.

-ULSAP CR Pyo/cheo-tan 'juntan':

a popular modification of the junsoc, the juntan adds a rimfire grenade launcher that serves as a confortable vertical grip, as well as replace the stock with a smaller, lighter one. the barrel is extended to prevent escape gasses from damaging the launcher assembly. the rail on top could be used to mount a variety of optics but since this is employed mostly for CQB it's most common to see some sort of dot sight.

-ULSAP CR Pyo/gig 'giga':

an enshaw LMG vercion of the ULSAP combat rifle it is fitted with an overgassed system for increased fire rate and a titanium barrel that has a higher specific heat capacity. a bipod is mandatory but some operators like to include some sort of grip aswell.

the use of double drum mags has been counterproductive in making the soldiers take their armament seriously.

-Woomera:

a tried-and-true rocket launcher system developed in the arcean republic and used by the union among other groups. it is heavy compared to other rocket launchers but it packs a bigger punch.

Yay guns. I'm guessing Enshaw is more Korean than Chinese at this point?

that's mostly for naming and whatnot. the architecture and other cultural aspects will be original.
