its a hassle to make. in my experience, i tend to overdo it. shading is so fun but its so easy to put too much lines.

nooo! so many years of training!
or rather
so much money on weapons & armour.
in-universe these are actually meant to be a sort of elite infantry, like the marines, but not quite like the navy seals.
they're all voluntaries and so far they fought only conscripts.

the 'light gunner' come from 'light machinegun' light machineguns are called that because they are lighter than the machineguns mounted on vehicles (which are 'machineguns' or 'heavy machineguns' depending on the size of the bullets) normally, big bullets need bigger (and thus, heavier) guns to shoot them. hopefully that clears it up.
