In one scifi story, a space portal malfunction sends a shuttle some 750,000 years into the future and THIS is the one building still recognizable. The rest of London iis mnstly liquid buildings, weird mad architecture . The sky is all wrong,Β and so is the Thames. The passengers are ordered to stay in the craft and do NOT venture out or even look out. Extreme future shock is liable to result. Ne'retheless the hero goes so far as to take photos and return to the shuttle just before the Time Patrol arrives to return everybody to the proper time. He has SOME pics to show family & guests .
