So I have a dragon for you.. Ohmigosh! XPA new character, named Azeria.. The colors are off because I took a photo because my scanner is at school. The orange is actually more of a rusty kind of orange, rather than an ORANGE orange. I got lazy and didn't draw her front feet.
Here's the scoop: she's a dragon in a land where mechanical creatures are created by humans for the purpose of battling (ooh, battle-bots).. The 'clockwork' creatures are designed to look as lifelike as they can (which is pretty lifelike, just the inner workings are not). Clockwork dragons are made and battled as well-- real dragons dwell in this world, but have very little interaction with humans. In Azeria's case, she IS a real dragon that was captured by a gruff man that is out to prove that nature is better/stronger than technology. He gets away with having a real dragon because, "Look how lifelike she is!" etc, etc. She has a small device attatched to the back of her head that allows her owner (Garrith) to control or suppress her aggression. He also promised her that he would release her after he gained the ultimate title... so she's out to win at all costs.
Ta-daaaaaaaaaaaaah.

O.O Wow... I love the coloration! It's sorta like a koi pattern. I never realised how well koi would look on a dragon! ^_^

Oh, you're actually role playing again? I was surprised enough to just see a dragon drawing... of course you told me there would be another one soon, so I wasn't TOO surprised, but anyway when was the last time you RP'd as a dragon? I dunno why it surprises me so, it just seemed to me that you fell out of that niche when your new found faith surfaced. Am I wrong?

Actually, you are a bit off.
The "niche" I fell out of was believing I was a dragon. It wasn't just role-playing to me... I believed that spiritually I was a dragon and that in past lives I'd been a dragon. There's a big difference in RPing it and actually believing it. The reason I fell out of the dragon thing was because it was so connected to what I used to believe that I didn't want to push it.
I've RPd as people and critters (now and then), which is why I have such a plethora of characters, but I haven't done that in such a long time because a) the internet lost it's attraction and b) college. All the better, I figure. All the OMGosh DRAMA and wacked out sleep schedule is avoided now. I really would rather spend time with people face to face or making art.
Nevermind that art-browsing has begun to suck up a lot of my attention... dang you DA. >.>
