LAV-25 (light armored vehicle)The Army's idea of tank evolution. Really it seems to me to be a suped up firetruck with an M-2 Bradly turret stuck on top- minus the TOW missiles. I think they are cool looking though.Related content

Do you work from memory or a bunch of ref photos?

I try to do as much of both as possible.
I love ref photos but sometimes I really need to research to find out what exactly I'm looking at. I'm sort of nerdy like that. I don't want to just paint a bump on something with out knowing what it's there for. Also, I have a lot of models that I have built over the years and they help out a lot with both research and perspective.
Memory is like icing on the cake but if I relied on memory alone I would be doing nothing but M2 Bradleys with a Humvee thrown in now and then.
