Cardinace is my baby. I had so much fun designing this pokemon. The original inspiration for a cardinal fake was Little Red Riding Hood, and when I decided to make it my region's bird pokemon, I just thought that it worked so well that I'd keep it, hood and all. This IS the final and only evolution for Twee though, it doesn't evolve after this. Kind of like Tailow to Swellow in that sense. Anyways, I hope you guys like it as much as I do. ^^Cardinace

Cardinace soar through the skies at fascinating speeds. They are well known to race against other flying type Pokemon or vehicles that drive by.

I actually haven't given consideration to any megas yet. I'm kinda surprised that I haven't now that I'm thinking about it. xD I'll do megas after I finish the region's dex.

THANKYA. I try making my fakes look as official (design wise, I know I don't quite have a grasp on Sugimori's art style when it comes to coloring and shading and all that) as I can, so hearing that is super awesome to me.

That's awesome! ^^ I've noticed a lot of the birds in the games have quirks, so I wanted to follow that trend. Pidgeott's flowing lochs, Noctowl's luscious eyebrows, Staraptor's emo hair, Unfeazant's face. Then you have Swellow and Talonflame who are more flashy with the rest of their design than their hair/face.

if it's little red riding hood as inspiration, perhaps it could be Fairy//Flying to differentiate itself from the other official regional birds out there? Just as a suggestion, the design itself obviously makes it stand out as visually unique as is!
