I really like this piece, I can't say why but something about it draws me in, the lone figure the lava, the colour, it all works brilliantly. I also very much like the overhanging trees. I wonder whom the figure is, where is he going, and what his story is...

I'm glad you like it! The figure was just a last minute addition for a sense of scale. xD Not to say that he can't have some story going on though.

I think he is a great addition, really brings the piece alive and as you say does provide a nice sense of scale.
