Still one my favorite sci-fi series, I wonder if ships in mechwarrior finally have shield she or artificial gravity in them without use of rotating parts of the ship to product gravity

No, outside of 'Mechs and the K-F Drive, there won't be a time where BT would have artificial gravity systems other than centrifugal. The best shields can do is block PPC bolts and that's it while requiring a lotΒ of energy to even hope to pull that off.

The Omen is an 85 ton omnimech so its payload can be easily modded. However iirc the prime is loaded with ATM-12, LB 10-X AC, Large Pulse Laser, 2 x ER Medium Lasers, 2 x Medium Pulse Lasers and an AMS. Not enough Heat sinks to fire everything but oddly for a clan Mech enough ammo for an extended combat
