Jellyfish truly are some remarkable creatures, aren't they? So beautiful, yet so dangerous... Looking at this, I have to say that if all jellyfish actually looked like this, I wouldn't be so scared of them (Yes, you should take that as a compliment). You did a fantastic job rendering a feeling of undersea peace with this drawing. The expression on the character's face is so serene, and it looks like she is truly happy.
Your technique is remarkable. You made beautiful use of the glow, but not to a point where it's overdone. The line-less tentacles don't clash with the lined character, and the colors work really well together--the character does not get lost in the background.
I don't see many marine Sonic fan characters, let alone jellyfish. It's a very original character, and yet, it's so simple... When you really think about it, she's wearing nothing that doesn't have to do with her species. And while the markings are also rather simple, they get the job done.
Overall, it's a beautiful technique and an original concept on a character I hope to see more of.
