It's too bad that Ash never caught Lapras until Season Two when he went to the Orange Islands.Β I understand why he had to let that Lapras go since it needed to be with its herd, but I wish Ash didn't always have to say goodbye to his Pokemon.

The only beast that I probably fear angering is possibly Gyarados, especially since in the anime it's known to be quite hostile.Β Ash was really impressed with one of those trainers that was able to tame a Gyarados once he visited Mew Island.
