Funnily enough, I'm down on this comic. Bale is a decent actor, but he doesn't come off as smart as the Bruce Wayne in the comics.

Yeah I don't really have a problem with Bale at all. But he's not written as a smart detective. He just seems more like a jock that uses technology with his fighting. But at least in Dark Knight they started to develop his detective skills with the whole bullet fingerprint recovery bit. In Batman Begins theres pretty much nothing to indicate he did any detective work. >>
