Season: Spring 2024
Location: Main Densite, Tephe Territory

Prompt: 'All at once, everything had changed.'

Summary:
The wind was screaming, the sky roared, and the water was full of rage. Everything about today felt dangerous. Taegan had sent her students away to find their briners and parents as the weather seemed to get worse, she then went out to look for Eigel. Just as she found her mate, howls could be heard in the distance “Wha- evacuation..?!” Her voice was shaking as she leaned into Eigel’s side, her body had begun to shake.

Eigel turned to his mate and wrapped her up into a tight but brief hug before looking straight into her eyes, “Tae, go to high ground! I have to help the others!” He said and licked her forehead before he left her side “I promise I’ll come find you later!” He shouted back as he raced to warn others.

He called loudly to a passing group of Tephens and directed them toward Taegan, instructing them to stay together no matter what and climb up the tallest hill they could find. The wolves, mostly young adults around Taegan’s age, gathered around the Minstrel, their shivering bodies huddling together for reassurance. Some of them whimpered in fright, others whispered words of comfort to keep the group calm. Not stopping there, Eigel ran toward the shouts of more frightened Tephens in the distance.

Distressed by the growing chaos, Taegan tried to call Eigel back, "E-Eigel! Wait-!!" But it was too late. Before she could call out again, a loud roaring sound came from behind her.

A big wave of water was approaching her. She and the others began to run in an attempt to escape it, but there was no time. Before she could do anything else, she was surrounded by water and was swept away.

Another amazing Taegel collab with Golden! <3

They did the sketch, line-art and background while I did colors & shading. We also worked together to write the summary ^^. This is a not so happy scene though :'c our lovebirds are tragically separated in a great flooding! I'm crying and praying for their reunion T_T
