My image of robes in The Black Magician Trilogy books by Trudi Canavan. Lord Dannyl belongs to her. Read the books, they're awesome!Black ink, crayons.
There is a lot of text on the sides, if you can't make out what reads there and are interested, I will be happy to help. Some things I had to leave out, so I'll explain a bit why the robe is like that.
Mainly, I though the robe should be practical. I wanted it to be more similar to a coat than a dress just on that purpose, because magicians wear it all the time. The sleeves are according to choice, and that is because I myself think the narrow are much more practical, yet I can't imagine characters like Lorlen wearing a robe with narrow sleeves. I didn't make the robe decorative, though it would be nice to, simply because I didn't have any ideas about that. Also, I could've gone with a collarless, more robe-like model but I like the idea of a collar, so it turned out like this. Under the robe I figured you'd want to have trousers and a shirt rather than an under robe of some sort.

Thanks! Well, I couldn't think of either of them having narrow sleeves, Lorlen even more clearly than Akkarin. Though Lorlen should be practical, I just don't see it.
I actually just realised the Guide to Slum Slang after I started doing this, but obviously I've subconsciously had it in mind when drawing

Ever heard the Robbie Williams song? 'All the best of men are married, all the handsome men are gay..' At times it's just so true. And Rothen gets even older in Ambassador's Mission, which I'm reading at the moment. But hey! Dorrien is free isn't he? Though not for long, I'd take him any time. One of my fav side characters.

And I've made the line-art of a quick thing with Lorlen asleep from too much work and a half-smiling, affectionate-looking Akkarin looking down at him.
BUT....I forgot myself, and coloured their hair first. Which is BLACK. Which means that when I started colouring Akkarin's SKIN, which is pale....
*headdesk* Akkarin's skin's a tad purple.
I'm gonna have to re-draw the line-art.
....Not TOO bad, really, as I then have the change to make some changes.

I just came home from a local archery contest.
I came third in my class, with 694 points. They just awarded thw first two, though. But ALMOST. Technically, I did get the bronze, even though they didn't have a price for it.
