Description
Concept of sci-fi handgun based on revolver profile. No Bullets but energy pack instead of standart drum.Worked in 3ds max, used vray rendering engine and finished it in photoshop. Model is highpoly.

Does it fire 3 barrels simultaneously or, since it is an energy weapon, perhaps the barrels revolve with each trigger pull to prevent overheating... I like the look of it but in handling a pistol this size it is nice to consider functionality to justify the size and features.

Looks pretty awesome.
One change I'd make though, is maybe adding a small cooling fan in the back/center of the drum, that spins any time you fire, adding to the Revolver-feeling.

I see a gunslinger with one on each hip... Old West meets new frontier...a la "Firefly." Very Clean design. How many "rounds" per clip?

This is a really cool model. What I really like is that it kinda reminds me a bit of a large framed revolver like the Taurus Raging Bull. Looks like it's got some weight to it, but what can you expect from a tri-point dispersion weapon? (Yes I named the end bit haha)
Nice emulation of the 1911 Dovetail fused with a classic revolver grip.

With a pose for v4, m4 and genesis hands to hold them, your handguns would be easy 10 - 15usd sellers on Renderosity or Daz3D.

It's very well done. I might do something to the cylinder so it's obviously an energy weapon. As is it's I think it would needs it's backstory. A pistoleer who loved the old stories of cowboys and had his laser guns made to like like revolvers or just the style of high end gun makers... Very nice work.

Black ops 2, its a sniper rifle that uses a 30 round battery that can shoot through walls, it has 3 barrels and a scope

Well, I also love one big hole, but for me it mostly depends on who's using the gun. I mean there are different types of ... well gunslingers. Anyway, I allways love to see creative or new things.

yea. To shorten time I used to make just overal body and then attach those smaller components all around like christmass tree. And those small parts I use over and over. probably make new ones next time.

This is a really cool model and definitely mixes the revolver profile with sci-fi characteristics really well. However I'm a little confused as to why there are three little barrels seen at the front of the gun. Don't get me wrong it looks cool but it just doesn't make much sense to me function wise why there'd be three. Although I guess it would be an interesting wound cause you'd almost have this kind of signature mark on each of your victims haha!
