EDIT: In light of the recent journal illustrating common mistakes, I did in fact not pay as much attention to the size proportions as I should have on this piece, not gonna lie. By the time I realized it I had put in too much effort to just scrap it and submitted it anyway. Sorry. ;-; I understand if it doesn't count.I am on a roll. xD My second entry for the DTA Sushidog event taking place here -> SUSHI DOGS DTA 2015
This one took me another 7 and a half/8 hours to do (I'm not sure if that's a sign of devotion or how much of a lunatic I am... xD). I'm really proud of this one as well, and I took what I learned from my first entry and sort of changed and applied it to this one (Namely the trees and grass). Learning to work with thin lines is a bit of struggle for me, but I do have to admit it looks better in a full on scene like this. If I don't win this little gal at least I've had a great learning experience- And I'm only two entries in!

---I'd really appreciate it if anybody could give me some perspective tips... xD I tried blurring out the leaves in the front because they should technically be out of focus, but it didn't quite look right. Any advice is welcome!---

And for a few tips as you asked~ Maybe with the mountain in the background, it could be a bit darker? To give the main scene a more 'cozy' feel? 
I really hope I didn't come off too strong with the advice, I'm not too great with giving it based on art.

No no no no, you said exactly what I needed. ;u; I tried making the mountain solid black, but then I felt like there was no depth to it. I agree that it needs to be darker, but then I feel like it's just a flat object in the distance. The struggle is real. xD Thanks so much for the advice! ;w;
