Wow! That is quite a wing! I love your concept on this character's wings and that he can control them with his mind. The desolate city-scape makes it more interesting too!

Yeah! There's actually a story forming behind this landscape, so we'll see if I get around to it any time in the future!

Love the science behind the artwork, which, not to mention, is fantastic; well done!

You're quite welcome! I love stories and science backing art; it gives you not only a better perspective but makes it all the more imaginative and enjoyable.

What a powerful concept! Seriously, I want to see this wing design implemented in an epic sci-fi film in the near future. I especially like the idea of the nanomachines reacting to the brain of the host like an organic pair of wings would.
Very intriguing three-point perspective, by the way. It's quite beautiful. I feel like there could be a bit more contrast between the top of the wing and the background... bolder lines, perhaps? But all in all, this is a very lovely piece. The streaks and splatters of the background are probably my favorite detail. I'm always too afraid to implement that stuff into my own artwork, so seeing it makes me go, "Guhhhhh howdidhedothat." X'D

Spatters are really easy! Just put little pieces of paper over the parts of the work you don't want spatter on. I used some old to-do lists to cover up parts on this piece; really, any paper thicker than tissue paper will work.
