This is a very old model.. One of the first things I made when learning to use Blender. Obviously I started off by making simple shapes and then building up to more complicated things.. But then I skipped a few steps and made this. It took several weeks of building components, then rebuilding them.. then doing it again until I was happy with the results. Looking at it now, the mesh could be a lot better, I was in a "why use one poly when ten will do" phase so.. I could add a lot more detail to this while reducing the poly count
It's another one of my models that I would like to have a real version of.. $0.80 is no big deal, though, right? For this image at 1920x1080 It would all go towards a shiny new 3D printer so I could print my steampunky models
...And robots.. I have a lot of robots that definitely wouldn't be used to take over Earth or anything.. >.>
