Yes that's right, for that reason Capcom Fighting All Stars and Street Fighter EX for 3DS, were cancelled.

I've never played any of the EX games ("HOW many digits is that price?!") but I can definitly relate - Aska, from the SNES version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters, was just such an awesome character, but the rights to the character are co-owned by Konami and Nickelodeon, because they currently own the Ninja Turtles brand name. Problem is, Konami no longer has the rights to make Ninja Turtle games, so sadly for Aska, it was her one and only appearence....

I wish the Arika would give the rights of these characters to Capcom!!! I know most people don't appreciate the EX series, but I thought it was pretty good!
