Quite eye catching. The earthy monochrome feel with a bit of muted blue in the middle. Personally, I like the tree. Also, I see a face in there...is that intentional or am I just weird

This is a lovely piece, the colours are beautiful. I think that it could be improved by looking at more references of trees. At the moment, it looks a little (for lack of a better word) blobby. If it was more closely references, this piece could be mind-blowingly brilliant!

Not really, I tried to capture the general mood and feel of the song. It's something I try to do with all the pieces I make to songs.

Not sure if this counts, but I tried to get a dirty 'parchment'ish texture with the canvas.

Huh. I figured I was imagining the people embracing to the left of the tree, but the two black smears above it seemed more like eyes than like a coincidence.

But it's interesting- I pictured, almost involuntarily, the same colors you used in the picture the first time I heard the song. How many other people do you think saw the same colors?
