This is pretty close to what I had imagined at he beginning for the layout...but truth be told...I'd have liked to have made an animated title screen mock up.

I just don't have the video software I'm familiar with to do that. :-/

So my take of Cecil's Dark Knight armor based off the new sprites from the PSP version. In a pose similar to Kain's for the title art of the game.

I got the Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection for my PSP a while back...not going to lie...I got it for the outfit for Cecil...because there was a point I wanted to have every special outfit I could for my characters. I did plan to play it. It was a Final Fantasy title...and I knew it was probably better than FFIII...and I was right.

Final Fantasy IV's Theme Of Love is the one thing that I probably logged in a good amount of my gameplay time listening to. I really enjoy the song...and it is probably my favorite for a romance theme in the series now.

Don't believe me? Then check it out. I recommend listening to the first one. It's by far the best rendition of it I've found.
Also the song I had on repeat while I worked on this.

This is only going to spoil the beginning of the game, but I felt Cecil fighting between loyalty to his country by being a Dark Knight and his own morals was a great story point...though...I wasn't too thrilled to find out that he was engaged to a white mage that took a good while to get in the party.
"Cecil, I'm worried for you, are you going to make this journey on your own?"
"Rosa, I couldn't live with myself if anything happened to you."
DUDE! WHITE MAGE! TAKE HER IN THE PARTY! SHE CAN HEAL YOU!
"But Cecil...I..."
"Rosa, my mind is made up, I want you safe."
SHIT IS TOTALLY GOING TO GO DOWN HERE. ESCORT HER TO SAFETY. TAKE HER INTO THE PARTY. LET HER HEAL YOU.

I was fine with it when he was a Dark Knight because you stock up on potions and spam Soul Eater, you're good to go. Paladin Cecil has some cure spells...but Rosa is far more useful than he is...someone with a potion is far more useful than he is when he tries to heal someone. >.>;;
