Description Wheee, finished at last...

I decided to downsize it just to make it better looking, I've seen many a person do it before...so why can't I?

--

Okay, this is based on the question "What if Organization XIII / The Thirteenth Order gained control of Sora?", and so he's got their coat, and his hair's a little more akin to Roxas' hair, and yes, he kills (hence the blood).

I made the keyblade to represent Sora as two powers in one, the Nobodies (aka "Non-Existant Ones" as they mention in KH: Final Mix...I need to get a copy of it...) and the Heartless (which I think are weird, as they're made of hearts, so shouldn't it be that they're the Nobodies and the Nobodies as Heartless? Something made of a heart is not heartless...-_-) and finally the black arm of duuuuuem, I just wanted to make it so that Sora had both his humanity in both parts, both dark and not.

And since this is Organization XIII/Thirteenth Order Sora, I figured he wouldn't smile as much, unless it was for the benefit of the organization/order.

--

Anyways, I found out that Organization XIII was also called the Thirteenth Order, along with creepy fanart. I like the name "The XIIIth Order" a bit more than "Organization XIII"...it just makes it seem like the groups' a bit more serious.

Sora and Organization XIII / The Thirteenth Order are property of Square-Enix/Squaresoft. Backround is also a concept art for Kingdom Hearts' Hollow Bastion that I slightly modified in Photoshop.

Okay...people, I've taken notice how popular this piece seems to be...but I think some of you might be interested in my 3-d Render of the One Winged Angel keyblade from Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix (though, I do feel it should have been in Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ in more than just the Re: Chain of Memories, but this is my own griping here).

YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE! YOU WERE MEANT TO DESTROY ORGANIZATION XIII, NOT JOIN THEM! BRING LIGHT TO THE UNIVERSE, NOT LEAVE IT IN DARKNESS!

Good job, by the way.

I kind of wish there could be a boss battle like this. Sora has to fight what could have been if whatever they were planning in 3D had worked.

Not trying to be one of those nit picking little correctors, but one of the things about the keyblade is that it cannot kill that which has a soul or heart.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

PhilWiesner In reply to chaosglory626 [2009-10-14 07:00:45 +0000 UTC]

Technically...it can...the Keyblade of People's Hearts (the one wielded by Riku and the very one Sora stabs himself with) can be used to turn one into a Heartless...and perhaps nobody...and once so...

Well, you get the picture. Break someone down into the base components, eliminate just one of them, and pretty much the person has been killed by the Keyblade.

Besides, if something has substance enough to block a sword, it has enough substance to bludgeon someone to death with...so it can kill, despite it being a 'magical weapon'...we just don't see it doing that due to Disney having a hand in this...despite it being used to beat back Cloud, Sephiroth, Leon, and Yuffie...all of whom are human (although Sephiroth is questionable).

Disney of America censored out the flames on Axel when he dies in KHII, not to mention Xigbar's sniping rifle not being in-game during his battle when KHII was released in America (rather, it was replaced by him using one of his handguns and the crosshairs being removed and replaced), as well as Xemnas' line (from the Armored Xemnas fight) "Face your death!" having no English counterpart.

The game series is a little darker than you give it credit for.

PhilWiesner In reply to Miscomunication [2009-07-31 19:23:24 +0000 UTC]

But here's the thing...I drew that Sora picture because I felt compelled to...and the quality suffers if I don't feel the determination for the piece.

Now this piece overshadows all my work, including my featured deviation and newer creations...just because it's Sora.

Don't get me wrong, I love the game series, and Final Mix for KHII is one of my all time favorite games so much that I paid over $225 to mod my system and import the game...yet no one seems to notice my newer work because of Sora here.

I like the faves and pageviews, but I'd like it more if people paid more attention to my newer art...not to mention I haven't been in a KH fan art mood recently, maybe that will change once 358/2 Days is out...but right now it's not something I can do.

You can always put the deviation in "storage", and then people would look more at your other work than this one.

Just an opinion, though.

I'm not sure how to put a deviation in storage other than the artist leaving dA, even though I've seen it done for people still on here.

Though, I wish there was more emphasis on riding bikes over here, two thirds of a meter maximum of bike lane while people drive past at all sorts of high speeds getting well within a meter's length of you, only seems to make me think riding a bike here is unhealthy and unsafe...

Long story short, I went to Europe, and now that I'm back, it's made me realize the USA is fat.
