Description
Shiban was a grandson of Genghis Khan, on of Jochi's sons, Prince of Left Wing and Batu's younger brother. He was kinda exception in aristocratic environment and had a glory of warrior. These are all actual historical people. The person being depicted is Shiban, a grandson of Genghis Khan. You could probably find more info about him on the web.

I love how his father and grandfather are looking on at him, one proudly and the other, a bit embarrassed? I'm not sure, I think I see a blush or discontent. Either way, love his innocent expression and hilarious comment of saying that he's not in his best form today, as if he had not done enough by massacering all those people. Great work as always!

Do you use a mixture of water color and pencil?
I'm curious as to how your blacks are so black and your pencil is not speckled from the scanner. I would love to know! I can't get my drawings looking that clean and tidy!
