Sorry for my englishOk, a lot of tumblr anons asked me to translate this strip. I didn't planned to upload it.
Wtf happened in this strip: Ryazan was a first russian city, destroyed by Batu in 1237 ( Mongol invasion of Rus' ). Prince Fyodor was a son of Yuri, ruler of Ryazan - he was executed after he refused to give Batu his wife,princess Evpraksia. When the siege began, she killed herself.
Eh. P.S. Always happy to draw Subutai in his kick-ass mood.

In history assholery was pretty damn common. The olden day Mongols were brutal in their methods, but every Empire was like that. The British, Ottoman, etc.
