So this is yemaya, african goddess of the ocean. and motherhood, and the moon. and basically everything else.she's super awesome, and most commonly viewed as a mermaid- except here.

on another note, she's not transparent, cause it keeps showing up with a black background in the preview. (i'm using iaza.com, so i'm not sure if i can fix this) black on black, not so hot. if anyone knows another way to make images transparent, i would love you forever.

Lovely pic, but I'm not fond of the hair. Instead of making it long and straight, I wish you had made it into locs or braids. There are various African styles with locs and braids.

True, maybe if I ever redo her I will. I know that when I made her there was no way I'd consider it, being as it's too hard, but now? perhaps.
Oddly though, a lot of the references of her have her with straight hair. Oddly straight for an african woman. Occassionally with curly hair, but usually down. Wierd.
