I am loving this tail! And these pictures!Sometimes my husky tails realize they're husky tails and want to get curlier than my pattern was designed for -- this is one of those tails. The overlapping curl and tilt is unintentional. This is a fortunate "flaw" that I'm not complaining about!
EDIT: I have gotten a lot of inquiries about this tail's pattern. As stated above, my husky patterns were not explicitly designed to have these curls and it is just something that would happen with them sometimes. Please do not ask for the pattern, I don't even know where my patterns are anymore anyway!

I seriously love this tail! Coming from a newbie to the suit making process, I was wondering how you can make tails curl like that? I'm sorry if it's a bother to respond, I was just wondering!

My husky tails never had anything special to the pattern to make them curl over themselves. Somehow they just often ended up like this. I believe the pattern simply had a very tight curl. (I don't know where any of my patterns are anymore so I can't check.)

Nice! I love the black detail that separates the blue and white. It gives extra dimension. Did you get this by sewing in a black strip of fabric or one of the other methods?
