Night VIII - A Crown for a Forest GodPart of Night Series and continuation of the Forest God being part of it once again!
Had started it several months ago but couldn't get time to finish it for IRL reasons, but at last finished! Hah, hopefully got the numbering right.

I love the color pallets on this! Those pretty, saturated colors makes his branchy antlers that much more central. Very nice!

I think it's amazing, and I like it a lot. Don't know if it was inspired by or just a coincidence, but this reminds me of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. (I'm not a Harry Potter fan, but I saw the movies and this image is very similar to one of the scenes...

I am glad you like it! Hah, never thought of it as being related to the Prisoner of Azkaban scenes. I do have some ideas related to that PoA and the Deathly Hallows scene in mind for another deviataion, but not for these ones. Pictorial features like these make them look similar to other things, so, in a way it's good, since you will interpret it as feeling like something else, like you did with the Harry Potter scene while someone else could have another different from what the artist intended. I like that everyone can get so many different interpretations! What feeling do you get while you see this in relation to the Prisonder of Azkaban scene?
In relation to what I had said above, someone also thought another work of mine, was related to the Deathly Hallows patronus scene. So, it was interesting to see that reflected here as well.
