Description Title is description.

I've done manips that resemble deserts, forests, underwater and now...snowy mountains
Original size is 2400 x 1200.

Perhaps one of the most difficult manips i've done yet to get it looking realistic. Getting it all to blend together was time consuming but i think it turned out ok. Kinda reminds me of one of the scenery jig-saw puzzles

Nice manip! Don't think those trees would be in the arctic, but great work otherwise.

hm, overall this looks really nice, the effort you put into this piece is noticable I like this scenery, it has a very fantasy-like look
yet, there are some flaws... first, in the lighting... in the mountains above the light comes from the left, on the ice in the bottom it comes from the right... and then at some places the blending is too soft, especially the trees around the waterfall are blending too softly into the ice behind. and the two boats are the same.
but these points aside, you made a really creative piece, good idea

this is truly one of your best,

other than a few lighting errors as said before me, but you cant be blamed for that

i don't know if you are running out of ideas or not, but if you ever need ideas, im happy to help as i have got allot of ideas myself if i ever had the skill for landscape manipulation.

Perfect appart from that polarbear in the foreground. Give it a little opacity or something, because it just stands out too much to me.

nice nice... aside some lighting errors. i also recognize the boats back there... are actually the same. - try to put more efforts into your work... and they'll look even better. keep it up

hey! i'm not much in this "blending" manip
i could figure out the hardest thing is to use photos with so different lights
anyway i think the perspective here works quiet well
but the man is a bit too much, maybe i'd cut him or use another one
cause he seems crushed

This is very beautiful. The colours are gorgeous and the idea is great, too. The only thing that bugs me a little bit is that the water is obviously from different pictures on the top and bottom. If I were you I would try to find a picture of similar water or clone the water on the lower half to the top half. Great job, though.

nice but i can see some faults.
1 in the middle of the icebrgs its excessively blurry
2 above the top right iceberg there is a part where you can tell apart the parts of water
good job otherwise

Wow this looks really cool. It blends fairly well and definately catches the eye. I liked this one the second i saw it. The colours in this image are all so captivating. This is definately a well made piece. You have some great talent and alot of creativity. Keep it up!!!

blackzer0 [2005-01-25 11:30:25 +0000 UTC]

Hmm... Looks quite good at first sight! there's also still room for improvement here

The topmost mountain image blended into the mountains below it doesn't quite work; you could try to separate the two by using a more sharp cut and letting the topmost mountains appear as part of the furthest background.

The waterfall - the water colour doesn't match with the surrounding contrast (too bright blue), also try to stretch it down so that it pours into the lake (right now it looks as if it's just started to pour and hasn't reached the bottom yet - not natural for a waterfall.)

Bottom part looks good, water surface different but that's okay, the bear's perspective doesn't match with the angle of the "photo" - with his angle he would belong somewhere closer to the horizon.

I'd say that the man down there ruins the view, but I know what you mean by it "capture the moment". Sort of like when I put a photographer in one of my manips. It's your way of placing yourself in the image.

Great work!

Wow....your manips are wonderful. You make them look so dreamy and surreal, but at the same time you make it look like an actual photograph. I kind of wish the places you portray in your manips actually existed.
