Me: Time to draw gundham...what expression and pose do I give him...oh, of course, a >: D face with a hamster in his palm! So original! I've never done that before!

I have been struggling this year, folks. I knew I of course had to draw something for the perfect boy's birthday, but since he's already a tricky character to draw, I also knew I had to just do something simple. So this pose occurred to me as something that wouldn't be too difficult while also not being too boring. I did forget that I've already drawn it at least twice now but it's okay. It's okay. It's okay.

I hated this drawing for most of the time I was working on it tbh; I was quite upset about it on Sunday and Monday. Once I got to the shading last night though, it stopped looking so bad. I wouldn't say it looks good now, but it doesn't look as bad as I thought it did. Hooray for that. Jum-P does look pretty out of place in my style--you can tell I don't draw a lot of animals--but he's cute, right? Ignore the scaling idk how big hamsters are and forgot to even consider it until I'd long since committed to colouring. And I was cutting it close this year so it's not like I had a lot of time to fix it at that point anyway. In any case, I'm sorry this isn't stellar but I'm glad it's something.
