Love it, it's indeed much much sharper already. I especially love the slight reflection of the green on the cat's face and the pose. The light shining through the leaves has a very nice effect as well.

If the light is ok, glass usually doesn't ruin the photos.

I always put the lens directly against the glass. That works very well.
