Description The Sand cat (Felis margarita)

Also referred to as the "Sand Dune Cat"

To read more about this feline pls see 

This picture was taken at Parken Zoo Eskilstuna in Sweden With a Nikon D800 and a Nikon 28-70 F 2.8 Lens

The picture was taken above the cat 

This is one of the young Sand cat He was very curious of my camera and look strait at it  

Pls comment on what´s is good and bad so i can become better until next time ill try to take picture of the Sand Cat

This is a lovely picture! I thought these wild cats were normally shy, but this one is curious so that is perfect I love the little bit of green around the pupils of the eyes, just gorgeous   How close where you really for this picture?  Keep up the great work!

Really... when I saw this picture my chin fell down right to the ground and I couldn´t find a word!! This photo put together all the reasons why I really, REALLY love all felines from the house cat to the tiger! OHMIGOD that's adorable! The Sand Cat is one of my favorite Lesser Cats, Marbled Cats, Jungle Cats, and Fishing Cats are my top three. ^_^ My fav Greater Cats are the Indochinese Tiger and the Clouded Leopard. The Clouded Leopard's taxonomic name is pretty, no? Nebulosa..

So pretty. I think people should really spend time to learn about other felids than just lions, tigers, leopards and cheetahs. There are so many more amazing species.
