I don't know the character (nor much of the game for that matter), but she looks fascinating.

She is. Ive always been very intrigued by her. While every other zombie in the game is trying to mindlessly kill you, she never does. She just sits on her own and cries. I dont know why. I think shes scared.

Nahh, monsters are interesting. Have you written (or come across) any fanfiction about her? I can't imagine what it would be, considering how little you know of her, but like I said already, she sounds extremely interesting.

There is one. The author decided that she was a carrier of the zombie infection. While technically a zombie, she still maintains her mentality.

If she's so unique, then that makes sense, right? Haha, I don't know. I asked my brother (who's played the game before) about it and he was like "I don't even know what you're talking about" so apparently he doesn't follow the actual plotlines of video games. Whateverrr.
