Description Here's what happened:

Satoshi thought it was impossible that the Johto twins appeared out of nowhere. That was when he spotted something suspicious in the water. Just at that point of time, a Kanto boat patrolling through the waters saw the two and picked them up. Upon hearing that there might be a submarine lurking in the depths of the sea, the captain decided to follow the directions given by Satoshi.

The boat stopped just where Satoshi decided it was close enough for them to dive and investigate. But Carl had a vendetta. Using ditto as a magnet, Carl got himself attached to the steel hull and activated Magnet Rise. Ditto's attack, enhanced greatly by the immense amount of steel and steel pokemon on the ship created a large enough lift that forced the submarine out of water making it extremely vulnerable to Team Lightning-Rod's assault.

How did he know that? Apparently Carl made an acquantance with an engineer [link] that worked in the shipyard the method of raising the heavy hunks of steel with basic science.

Done as a promise was made.. hope it doesn't throw any wrenches into anyone's plans..

Nice and funny idea.

In real it would not work. A magnet have a really low range (those which are used to loading truck have only a range of 1 meter), so a submarine, which is 100 meters under water, is out of range.

But joke are often unreal.

But what about... an ELECTROMAGNET?

Still. I know that, because I saw a test about an James Bond Myth. They had a giant one, but needed less than one meter between it and a spoon, to pick up the spoon.

By the way, a normal magnet and an electrical have the same way to pick up steel. They both have a magnetic field, and there is no diverent between them.

The only difference is, that a normal magnet work all the time and a electromagnet work, if it get power.
