This a painting of the Goddess Kali in her most terrifying aspect.It's done with mega bright clothes dyes (red and yellow), black ink, magic marker, tipex, varnishes (brown and clear) and greenish ink...

Your image reminds me of Indian traditional art showing Kali. At the same time it is different.

I wasn't able to take a photograph of the whole painting because it was across a wall of a small room.. and I couldn't step back further.

Saw this piece in *thefantasim 's fav's. An amazing and very unique representation of Kali... She is normally seen in dark shades but with these brighter colours you have created more abstract and scary rendition of this goddess.

I did a couple of Warhammer style fantasy hashes (complete with lightning, corpse mounds & a fifty foot woman) beforehand, which I decided *not* to upload

I'm sadful to say it's not a t-shirt...although that could be rectified with !IMAGE MAKER! Two fifty, broad canvas, strange magic gel, makes t-shirts out of ANY 2D image......wahey!

She is a freakish goddess, I can barely claim to understand the worship, but she puts more wind in my sails than the idea of Jesus or worse a puny Israfeel for a destruction angel...
I have done a couple of other pictures of Kali, and Durga (her head-mother, precursive state, less terrifying counterpart) but I don't think they're much cop.

I once started to do a mural of Kali in my basement - I thought it too over the top and switched to Ganesh. The elephant headed god is soooo much less over the top for a basement in Oglesby, IL
Oh well. I moved, Ganesh got covered with a thick coat of off white eggshell, and life goes on
