Ha, so weird! I had this EXACT same image in my head that I was gunna do. But... well, yours looks like it's a shit load better than what I could do, ha, ha!!! Excellent work, though. Love the contrast of the shadow and the background. It's beautifully melancholic.

Looks like he's bleeding from his cheek and mouth, so he was involved with whatever happened in that explosion! Great Job, the expression is perfect!
