Its 90 percent painting and airbrushing... I'm not sticking it in mixed media...Used one photo of Grand Central Station, which was heavily matte worked (including extensions, night to day conversion, light stripping and repositioning, object removal etc. etc. ) and then painted over... and over....
Really enjoyed painting the robot hermit crab... yeah no idea what that's about either... looks cool though...

It's very Bioshock-esch. I like it but at the same time it's really creepy. =]
The metalic flowers add another sinister feel to it. I personally would like more colour in there but it's perfectly fine as it is. It's got a lack of humanity to it. Good job whiping us out

The image size was a 3669 x 2050 and 72 dpi...
Quite a lot of the painting was done pixel by pixel (using a 1 pixel brush in other words)... It was just a practice image I got carried away with.

Thanks.. Well I don't rightly know how long it took, got into a bit of a weird new work pattern, I've so many things on the go at once... I suppose including pencil sketches, about 3 days...

Ha, ha. I know how that is sometimes.
It is easy to get really busy with projects, especially when you get a bunch of requests! Three days, that's pretty good for such a detailed project.
