Description Happy New Year, wishing you the very best for the year 2012!

This is my New Year's Card.

New Year's Card (Nengajo) is a card sent as a greeting for the new year.
Nengajo are sent with illustrations of that year's Chinese Zodiac and words of congratulations.
This is the year of DRAGON in Chinese astrology.

Tatsu no otoshigo mean dragon's illegitimate child .

In the Orient, dragons are auspicious animal.
The dragon protects the east and controlling water, the dragon of five talons shows the Chinese emperor.

Oriental dragons are a figure such as the snakes. Dragons have excellent corners and talons. Dragons hold a precious stone granting a wish in talons.

I am slightly interesting.
For Japanese, they are 爪.I translated it literally.
I consulted a dictionary.Right expression is talons.
Japanese does not have the words to express talons with a word.

You and your relatives are 年男/Toshiotoko!
You are the leading role this year!
By the Japanese legend, Toshiotoko has good fortune.

It is happy to eat warm sweet adzuki soup in cold winter!
