I went back to the fourth novice course and I chose Victini for my next subject! A Psychic/Fire Pokemon that reminds me of Casey from the Pokemon Anime. If you don't remember, she's the big fan of the baseball team known simply as "Electabuzz". Why does it remind me of her? Because her saying "V for victory!!!" while putting up two finders to represent that stuck with me and reminds me of Victini's common hand signs and representation for some reason, lol!

This lesson is likely a LOT more freehand in comparison to other lessons you've been through so far so if you were using the game to get the hang of drawing it's going to push your skills even further! The only thing provided for you were dotted lines for the center of the ears, an oval for it's head with dotted lines for it's face angle, teardrop arms, oval body and a bit of the feet (not even hips). (unless you switched to the older outline style, but like I said about Inkay, that sort of defeats the purpose of the lesson. ) So there's a lot for you as an artist to flesh out and correct, including fine details like the sharp little hands and feet. I feel it's only a matter of time before they'll have me make my own construction shapes and sketches from scratch.

Oddly you had to use a grayish color for the eye shine this time instead of white. I think white would have made them look brighter and shinier. But this looks good in it's own way.

The background is one of the stock ones the game gives you to use. Whether you choose to use it at the end of the lesson or not, it'll still be unlocked in other modes. Even though the background screams "Victini" due to it's it's symbol and fire srtreams, I could still see it being used for other Pokemon because it's abstract enough to fit with others.
