WHOOHOO!!!! I NOW HAS A SCANNER!!!!!! 8DOkay, calming down. :3 This is my epic fully-traditional (which means no photoshop, no nothin'!) contest entry for 's 10th Anniversary website contest! His anime/webcomic website here [link] has reached its 10th birthday, and JA is holding a contest for it!
I hope I get a prize, 'cause there's this Cardcaptor Sakura figure set I want really badly. XDDeadline is November 1st. I just barely made it! XD
Um, to explain, the characters here are the main chars of JA's original manga called Pacificators. Volume 1 is titled "The Gateway to the Heavens", which refers to the legendary oil rig over there on the right on the far side of the ocean. Pacificators is pretty much a sci-fi, fantasy, humor, and pure American (Britain? Judging from where they live XD) manga. I recommend this as well as the anime site to you. 10 years' worth of stuff and comics, I tell ya! 8D
Too bad my new computer doesn't have Photoshop on it yet, or I would have adjusted the Levels on this pic to make the shadows go away. It would have looked way shinier than before! I guess I'll update it later when I do get PS.

It took me 3 days, on and off. XD I had to do it in secret from my mom because I'm supposed to be preparing for my FLHS admission exams. It's 11 days until the tests! I'm scared! XD

I'd suggest trying GiMP. It's free and it has a 'levels'option in the colour menu, though I hear it can be hard to work out for photoshop users.

Oh, my dad's going to bring the Photoshop installing program over from his work tonight. It's just that we didn't have the time after getting a new computer. (And I don't like new programs because it takes me ages to get used to them! XD)

Really? I'm honored! 8D Oh, if you're going to get some, here are tips:
-if you're getting a SMALL amount of GOOD QUALITY ones, get Copics. They're expensive but well worth it.
-but if you're wanting a LARGE VARIETY OF COLORS more than QUALITY (and don't worry, because these are good quality too), try Shinhan (a Korean brand). Their markers are quite sleek and the colors are absolutely gorgeous. They're the ones I use. :3 But if you can't seem to get them from the US, just try some domestic US markers, because they'll work pretty fine.
Usually it's the skill of the illustrator, not the quality or price of the markers, that counts. I know you have that potential.
