Description
Artistic NotesI don't want to write too much about the story behind this piece, because I think it will affect how people view it, and comment on it. So I'll just say that, as should be obvious, its about mourning, and hope, and sadness, and the release of the past.

Creative Information
People seem to think if you use stock images to create your work that its not as difficult. I get comments like 'cool' or 'nice'.. which is sweet, I love comments generally, but to clear things up it isnt easy to make this stuff, no one could make an exact copy of this piece even if they used the exact same stock.
It is still art work, I dont have a good quality camera at the moment, I am not pretty, but I still worked hard to make an beautiful image that represents something important to me.
This piece took 4 hours total including searching for stock but excluding posting time, contacting the stockists and making notes.

The atmosphere you wanted to create definitly seems visible her through your use of blue and black tones but it's also not obnoxiously dark like some people. It's nice that you didn't go overboard. The balloons make for a nice focal point- they keep the viewer's eyes from wandering away from the subject ^^

This is a very nice piece no one has commented on the lighting which is kinda surprising to me because it's really good. The imagery and the way the light falls on her face just barely illuminating her I find amazing.

The lighting is tricky, you have to make several different photos look like they were taken at the same time of day / same place / same angles. But I love it

Well now shes in the clear I guess I can talk about it.
December came before January..
On December 26th a friend online of mine, and a moderator of my poetry forum, Crystal, went into early labour. Mick, the boy child, was dead when born, and Robin, the girl, had to keep being ressussetated before she finally died on the 28th. Crystal went into a shock induced coma, and while she was in it they performed a hysterectomy upon her.
She is awake now and soon to come home. But I knew no words could offer my condolenses, so I made Mournful December.
