Description This system in the past had 6 planets, one of them had huge amount of magnetic rocks what made it crush into the pulsars core, in the process one of the orbiting planets got luckly hit by a gamma burst and tared apart, generating in consequence the ring visible nowadays.

A lot of time working on this, I hope you like it.

Man, I guess all those planets are literally swimming in gamma rays and all sorts of deadly radiation and cosmic debris and just waiting to be swallowed by the black hole in the middle of this cosmic storm.
Still, very cool pic, really like it.

Woah, this is awesome! I am in a thing on howrse.com, called the Solar Project. Which is where I make art themed to the Solar System, and one of my planets I have to do is Uranus. Is it okay with you if I use part of this for the manipulation?

If the planets were alot smaller this would look like a neutron star emitting a pulsar but this is awesome

how did you create the spiral?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

pogona2009 In reply to BenSow [2011-08-25 09:23:01 +0000 UTC]

the basis is a hurricane image taken from the NASA website, on top of that much "fussion modes" and some painting

pogona2009 In reply to SuperSmurgger [2011-07-06 08:56:26 +0000 UTC]

that may be because I tried to conduct the viewer through the picture in a spiral way like the spiral of the picture: blue planet/following the belt of rocks/purple planet/planet behind the gas clouds/and finally little planet and pulsars core.

I'm glad you like it.

because of the pulsar, the planets can't hold water or life so they are like fried rocks.
