No prob.^^ I think it's the ears. I know Pikachu has very similar ears, but they seem to be more Pichu-esque to me. XD

I prefer this one
It's got that more originality compared to the older one (who's chubbiness makes it cuter, on the downside). This has that ultimate cross between the Pika-family and maybe Pachirisu, as the older one just looked like a plump Pikachu

I like the older one a little bit better. It was chubby and cute. XD I do like the difference with the tail, though. Very cute idea. I love this pokemon already!
