Kind-Hearted | Organized | Patient | Hard-Working
Quiet | Insecure | Overbearing | Dependent
Sophie is a kind person with a kind heart. Most of her actions and mannerisms originate from this fact. She loves to support people however she can, even if it's just lending a listening ear. She's very patient with others and tends to keep her calm more often than not. She cares maybe just a bit too much about others' well-being, however, and can come off rather overbearing at times. Growing up the oldest of 5 certainly doesn't help that trait, often taking a motherly role to most people. Growing up in such a busy household was more chaotic than not and required a lot of well-planned organization and effort, something Sophie has grown quite good at. Her home, items, and tasks are all organized very efficiently so if you ever need a hand organizing an event or task she would be most happy to help. She's a hard-worker at any task she is given.
Sophie is a rather quiet person. Growing up in a larger family, she was always drowned out more often than not. Nowadays, she finds herself staying quiet rather than speak her mind or give input. She would rather say a white lie to keep someone happy than voice her opinion. This also stems from her lack of confidence, more so in her words than her looks. She is more of a listener than an advice-giver. Sophie is also rather dependent on others, finding that she would rather seek out help from others than relying on her own instincts. She is very much reliant on others to get herself through rough times, even if it's only being in the company of others.

Sophie is the oldest of five children to a loving couple out in the countryside. Family is very important to Sophie seeing as that is about the only contact she has had with people her whole life. Her whole family lived in the countryside together with only a few opting to live somewhere else. Living out in the middle of nowhere on a farm made it hard for her to go to a public school or make friends that weren't her siblings or cousins. The closest town was over 45 minutes away, so her family opted to home school all of their children. Going to town was more of a special trip than anything else, and with her family living on a farm, it was rare that they needed to purchase things from grocery stores. Asides from her rather secluded life, she had an average upbringing.
Being the oldest of five more or so made Sophie a second mother. She helped raise her younger siblings and was even the go-to person for baby-sitting her cousins. She was heavily relied on by her parents for harder tasks, but it was a role she stepped into all on her own. She enjoyed the smile on her parents face when she gave them a break from the constant busyness that came from raising five children while keeping a farm running. Most of Sophie's free time was taken away with caring for her family or helping in the gardens. When she wasn't working or caring for others, she was studying. School was always very important to her, and even though she had no direct goals in mind she took her schoolwork very seriously. Reading and writing have been one of her favorite past-times for as long as she can remember, so schooling was always something she found fun. During the summers, when school was not in session, Sophie would spend a lot of time outdoors. Helping her mother with her flower garden and her father in the vegetable garden was a special time for her. She always had a green thumb, so much so her parents gave her a section for her to take care of on her own. Those spaces were always her pride and joy.
Throughout the years, life went on as normal. Her first 18 years of life taken up with learning, summers full of gardening and summer activities. Winters spent inside the warmth of their ranch house, all cuddling together in front of the fire with hot cocoa in hand. During her 19th year, however, the summer had been particularly hot compared to years prior. Granted only a few degrees more, it still was a rather dry time for them. Mid-way through that summer, a grass fire broke out in the fields. The fire scorched half of the garden and took down their shed before it was extinguished. Sophie lost her special crops to that fire. She became rather frightened of fire, and while the fear calmed, it never truly went away. She slowly overcame it with time, but still fears fire that she or someone else cannot control.
Not much else happened after that summer. Things returned to normal slowly and by the next summer the field was revitalized and a new shed was standing. As she grew older though, the prospect of making a life for herself was approaching. Some of her siblings were debating moving out when they became of age, others opting to stay on the farm and take over. Sophie wasn't sure what she wanted to do, so she asked her parents for advice. Of course, her parents just wanted her to be happy, so all they provided her with was more confusion so she dropped the subject. A year or so went by before she thought about the prospect again. Her younger siblings were getting older, she felt like she was losing a part of her purpose here, not being able to take care of them anymore. She had always been very reliant on her family, maybe too reliant. It seemed like she had become too content with her life, she couldn't live with her parents her whole life. She just became more confused and dropped the subject for another six months. Two of her siblings had made their own life now, one moving out in the suburbs of the city and the other working on buying a plot of land of their own. Now 24, Sophie had a lot to decide on. Half of her siblings had moved on, the other half already knowing where they wanted to go in life. Yet, she had no idea what she wanted to do. Once again, she asked her parents for help but all the words that had were how it didn't make a difference to them if she stayed here or not. Only more confusion. Eventually, Sophie realized she had to make this decision for herself and that she was relying on her family too much. This was her life, not theirs. She now understood why her parents gave her the advice that they did. She made her decision not long after that.
Time passed and it was time for her to put her foot down and take a leap of faith. There was only one way to find out if this was the right decision for her, and that was to just give it a try. It's a little terrifying, moving out on your own for the first time. But, if her younger siblings could do it then so could she. After all, what's the harm in trying. She knows she always has a home to return to. Her parents referred her to a place called Raccolto, somewhere they've heard of from newspaper ad's around the town. It seems as if it would be a perfect fit for Sophie to start fresh. Finally purchasing her own place, she is ready to make a life she lives for herself.

Moveset
Double Kick:
Sophie rarely uses this move and will refrain from using it if possible. Her legs do pack quite a hit, surprisingly.
Headbutt:
Sophie's only other physical move. She prefers using this over Double Kick, although it's not kind to her head.
Cotton Guard:
A move Sophie can't quite explain how she does it. Her hair will generally produce random cotton puff, but using this move causes the growth to accelerate.
Rest:
[TM] Sophie uses this move daily to help her go to sleep. Due to this, she always gets a good night's rest.
Ability: Fluffy
Sophie's ability makes her more resistant to physical hits or labor. She is more susceptible to fire, however.
