Fweee, I love how this turned out~ :'D
But I still can't figure out how to give it that nighttime-looking shading effect! You know, where everything's a dark, blue-ish hue or whatever? You knoooow! >3<;;;
But either way, it's still pretty darn nifty, right~? I'm especially proud with how the water turned out. For a while there, I didn't think I'd be able to get it to actually LOOK like flowing water, but I'd figured it out, I think!

I'd actually done a bit of research on what scene this could've been referenced to, had I gone with the "this reminds me of this one scene from the last book Catey read" idea. (I obviously failed at that, too, but that's beside the point. ...Maybe.) Aaaand (quite early in my research, actually) I'd stumbled across the old story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. That's where I went, "Ooo! Maybe this can inspire a dancing scene with Thorne and Catey! 8D"
Of course, watching videos of all the major dance scenes, I deduced that it wouldn't quiiiiite fit. ,|D;
Although, I did further decide that Catey's mom mainly does ballet now~ XD
Also, I was convinced that the old cartoon movie that I used to watch, "The Nutcracker Prince", is amazing and therefore had to be watched again~
Maybe Catey could've been dancing with Thorne similarly to how Clara did with the Nutcracker: [link] ? Maybe not...?
And that final pas de deux between those two will NOT get out of my head now, even when I'm trying to sleep: [link] ! It's too pretty~ >^<;
