Description Like the previous picture, this was done for a friend of mine, and based on a description of Michael Callahan from Spider Robinson's 'Callahan's Bar' series.
I prefer this one, as Mike is, in the stories, far more often a smiling, happy character, rather than the surly, angry looking fellow in the other shot of him.
I was quite happy that, while the expressions are very different, it still looks like the same bloke.
The hands are a bit bloody manky though.
Hrm.

Here's the original description:

"And Callahan-who was still sitting as I had seen him, his legs folded under him in the full lotus, suspended a good three feet off the floor-winked, poured my glass brimfull of Bushmill's, and grinned."

It's always interesting to see other people's interpretation of literary characters only ever seen on the covers. I like this, and that has to be one of my favorite scenes short of the many times Callahan and/or family show up naked from the Ether.

'Strewth, I kinda prefer this one, though your other was good, too. Thanks!
