Description
This was the planned flag of the United Baltic Duchy. The state was about to be created by Germans after the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk. The United Baltic Duchy never really materialised but it would have been a German led state of united Estonia and Latvia. The flag is based on the symbol of the Teutonic Order which controlled the area during the late Middle Ages.
