I have a question to ask. How do you get the plug back into the pony's head? I'm customizing my first pony toy and I can't get the plug back in the head hole. And it doesn't help that I'm customizing a unicorn and after a while, it hurts my hands.

Personally, I heat up the head with a desk lamp to get the plastic nice and stretchy. With that done, it's seldom especially difficult, though you do need to be careful of any custom paint job you may have done.

She's using a rerooting tool. Rerooting tools /do/ make things easier, but there's a trade off in how secure the hair is. Consequently, you have to use glue on the inside of the head to anchor the hair and it still isn't as reliable as doing it with a method like this one or the ones detailed by CustomAnon.
Ultimately, it's a matter of personal preference, but I'm willing to invest the extra time and effort for the uncertainty it spares me.

Ok, I'm just one for laziness and easiness, I prefer to use the rerooting tool to save time.

Nothing wrong with that! Everyone has their own inclinations on the matter.
