featuring: Torea, Hitashi, & Orisan.
scene chosen: -17 Summers-
time spent: 40-50 hours (spent a lot of time on the faces alone D:
tools used: PSCS, Wacom Graphire 4
reference used: just for the grandpa back there. no refs for the rest of the pic *.* i'm kinda proud of myself because of that..

It's kinda hard for me to describe what I love about this. Um, well, the warmth of the scene, for one. The light from the fire and the closeness of the two characters, especially in contrast to what looks like a very cold rest of the world in the background. The colors are beautiful, too. And the detail I love the amount of detail you've got in here.
